Climate
Northern Cyprus has a typical Mediterranean climate with very hot summers and cooler winters.
Summer is a season of hot weather, high temperatures and cloudless sky, but the sea breeze makes a pleasant atmosphere in coastal areas. The average temperature in July and August can reach up to 40 Celsius and in winter months the lowest temperature tends to be around 15 Celsius. Whole Cyprus enjoys high sunshine duration in all coastal areas. Even in January there are generally 6 hours of bright sunshine during the day. The weather in Northern Cyprus provides the visitors a truly pleasant holiday all year round.
